Social-Emotional Programming
At Bright Path Academy of Georgia, we passionately believe that a whole-child approach to learning equates to an environment where every child feels safe, loved, and understood. This starts by establishing relationships of trust. We recognize this as the foundation to success and address the social and emotional needs of every student.
The following are some of the ways we encourage students to advocate for what they need both socially and academically:
- Students utilize point sheets throughout the school day. This provides immediate feedback to ensure social success.
- At Bright Path, we provide various opportunities for students to interact with the local community via field trips, annual holiday celebrations, and monthly lunches outside of school.
- We weave fine arts, such as music and art as well as life skills, into the school day via elective classes as well as through our academic courses.
